On April 1 1968, Wally Falke decided to start his own business. Bonnie, his wife thought it was an April fool’s joke, but Wally was very serious. After preparing for 1 year, Wally and Bonnie established Wally Falke’s Air Conditioning in Modesto. They opened for business on April 1st 1969. Wally already had 20 years experience in the business and was well respected as a master troubleshooter and installer in the industry. Wally and Bonnie worked many long hours to build their business with a reputation of impeccable service, with honesty and value to our customers as its foundation. That philosophy is still in place today, with many customers that have been with us for over 30 years.
Today Wally’s youngest son Rick runs the business with his wife Christi. Rick started working with his dad the day he opened the doors. At age 11, after school and summers, Rick swept floors put away stock, helped his dad make sheet metal fittings, and started learning about the air conditioning business. What started as a way for Rick to make money after school soon became a passion for the indoor comfort world. Rick has put an emphasis on energy efficiency and comfort with computer based design to ensure maximum results for your home, and staying on the cutting edge of today’s best practices. He now installs split air conditioning systems and windowless air conditioners to meet and exceed the current trends in air conditioning.
